First Steps

So begins my outback expedition. This shot is on the Mitchell Highway 25 kilometres from Nyngan.

 

I grew up in regional New South Wales, though not as remote as here. After living in Sydney for 19 years (and Cambodia for one year) I’m impressed with the Outback’s size and space and silence and heat.
